Hoy ha sido nuestro último día dentro de este enriquecedor proyecto Erasmus+ en Torremolinos, una experiencia que durante toda la semana nos ha permitido convivir, aprender y crecer junto a jóvenes de distintos países. Como siempre, arrancamos la jornada a las 9 de la mañana en el comedor, donde compartimos el desayuno con un ambiente alegre pero también cargado de nostalgia, sabiendo que sería el último que disfrutaríamos todos juntos.
Today was our last day within this enriching Erasmus+ project in Torremolinos, an experience that throughout the week has allowed us to live together, learn, and grow alongside young people from different countries. As always, we started the day at 9 a.m. in the dining hall, sharing breakfast in a cheerful yet nostalgic atmosphere, knowing it would be the last one we would enjoy all together.
Tras desayunar, nos dirigimos a la sala común. Allí comenzamos el día con un momento muy especial: la felicitación de cumpleaños a nuestro compañero lituano Danielius, que pudo celebrar esta fecha rodeado de todo el grupo. Entre aplausos y sonrisas, este gesto reforzó aún más la unión y amistad que se ha ido creando durante estos días.
La primera actividad del día consistió en dividirnos por países para preparar un vídeo de reflexión. En él hablamos sobre los miedos, las expectativas y los objetivos que teníamos antes de iniciar esta aventura, y sobre cómo los habíamos enfrentado y superado. Fue un ejercicio de mirada hacia atrás, de reconocer cuánto hemos evolucionado y lo mucho que hemos compartido. Después de grabar, tuvimos tiempo para editar los vídeos, que posteriormente serían proyectados para todos a las 12 del mediodía.
After breakfast, we headed to the common room. There, we began the day with a very special moment: celebrating the birthday of our Lithuanian teammate Danielus, who was able to enjoy his day surrounded by the whole group. With applause and smiles, this gesture further strengthened the bonds of friendship that have been built during these days.
The first activity of the day consisted of dividing into national groups to prepare a reflection video. In it, we spoke about the fears, expectations, and goals we had before starting this adventure, and how we had faced and overcome them. It was an exercise in looking back, recognizing how much we have grown and how much we have shared. After recording, we had time to edit the videos, which were later projected for everyone at noon.
Antes de la proyección, realizamos un par de juegos de activación que aportaron energía y risas. El equipo español propuso una divertida competición de piedra, papel o tijera que despertó un gran espíritu competitivo. A continuación, el grupo de Macedonia presentó un dinámico juego de baile en el que había que imitar los pasos de un líder oculto, mientras otra persona debía descubrir de quién se trataba. La sala se llenó de música, ritmo y carcajadas, y acabamos todos bailando juntos una gran variedad de canciones que reforzaron ese sentimiento de unión.
Con el ánimo elevado, llegó el turno de los vídeos. Cada país mostró su trabajo en el proyector, y pudimos ver cómo cada uno había vivido la experiencia desde perspectivas diferentes pero con un denominador común: el crecimiento personal, la superación de miedos y la creación de lazos internacionales.
Posteriormente, repartimos los youthpass, certificados que reconocen la participación en el proyecto. Pero más allá del papel oficial, se convirtieron en un recuerdo único gracias a que cada participante escribió mensajes de cariño, gratitud y ánimo a sus compañeros. Fue un momento muy emotivo, en el que las sonrisas se mezclaron con alguna lágrima.
Before the screening, we played a couple of energizing games that filled the room with laughter and energy. The Spanish team proposed a fun rock–paper–scissors competition that sparked a strong competitive spirit. Afterwards, the Macedonian group led a dynamic dance game in which participants had to imitate the steps of a hidden leader while another person tried to guess who it was. The room filled with music, rhythm, and laughter, and we all ended up dancing together to a wide variety of songs that reinforced that sense of unity.
With our spirits high, it was time for the videos. Each country presented their work on the projector, and we were able to see how each of us had experienced the project from different perspectives, but with a common thread: personal growth, overcoming fears, and building international friendships.
Afterwards, we handed out the Youthpasses, certificates that officially recognize participation in the project. Beyond their formal value, they became a unique keepsake since each participant wrote messages of affection, gratitude, and encouragement to one another. It was an emotional moment, where smiles mixed with a few tears.
La despedida oficial estuvo marcada por los discursos. Primero tomaron la palabra Justin, Alisson y Lucía, que compartieron unas palabras de agradecimiento en representación de todos los participantes. Después, nuestra presidenta del club, Ana, cerró el acto con un emotivo discurso que tocó el corazón de todos, recordando la importancia de este tipo de proyectos en la formación de jóvenes y en la construcción de una Europa más unida y solidaria.
Con esas palabras dimos por concluido el proyecto Erasmus+. Por la tarde, nos dedicamos a preparar el equipaje para el viaje de vuelta, aunque también aprovechamos para disfrutar juntos de los últimos momentos en la playa, riendo, conversando y guardando en la memoria las imágenes de estos días inolvidables.
The official farewell was marked by speeches. First, Justin, Alisson, and Lucía spoke on behalf of all participants, sharing words of gratitude. Then, our club president, Ana, closed the event with a heartfelt speech that moved everyone, reminding us of the importance of these kinds of projects in the development of young people and in building a more united and supportive Europe.
With those words, we officially brought the Erasmus+ project to a close. In the afternoon, we prepared our luggage for the return trip, but we also took time to enjoy our final moments together at the beach—laughing, talking, and engraving in our memories the images of these unforgettable days.
Así terminó una experiencia que no solo nos ha dejado aprendizajes, sino también amistades que cruzan fronteras y recuerdos que nos acompañarán para siempre.
Thus ended an experience that has given us not only valuable learning, but also friendships that cross borders and memories that will stay with us forever.
